What Hero AI does

Hero AI is a chat interface inside Hero Marketer. Ask it a question about your campaigns and it responds with answers grounded in your live Google Ads data, your product context, and what's been happening in your account.

What it can see

Hero AI has access to:

  • Your active Google Ads account. Campaigns, keywords, ad copy, extensions, and historical performance.
  • Your product description and analysis. The same context Hero Marketer used when drafting campaigns.
  • Live performance data. Pulled fresh from Google Ads when you ask, not from a cached snapshot.

It does not have access to:

  • Other tools you use (your CRM, Google Analytics, Slack, billing systems).
  • Google Ads accounts not connected to Hero Marketer.
  • Anything you haven't given it through the connections you've set up.

What it's good at

A few categories of question Hero AI handles well:

  • Performance summaries. "How did campaigns perform last week compared to the week before?"
  • Diagnosing changes. "Why did spend spike on Tuesday?"
  • Recommendations. "What should I do to lower CPA on the alternative to jira campaign?"
  • Explaining numbers. "What does my dashboard say about which keywords are working?"
  • Comparing campaigns. "Which of my campaigns has the best ROI right now?"

What it's not good at

Some things Hero AI won't do well:

  • Long term strategy. It can analyze what's happening but won't replace a quarterly planning session.
  • Things outside Google Ads. It won't know what your sales team thinks of the leads you're driving, or what your CRM says about pipeline contribution.
  • Predictions. It can describe patterns but won't reliably forecast next month's performance.
  • Direct edits. Hero AI gives recommendations. It doesn't push changes into Google Ads on its own.

How it works under the hood

Hero AI uses a multi step workflow when you ask a question. It plans what data it needs, pulls live performance from Google Ads, synthesizes a response, and shows it to you. You'll see this happen as the response streams in.

Each interaction costs a small amount of credits, charged from your monthly balance. The cost depends on how much data Hero AI needs to look at to answer. Simple questions use a few credits; deeper investigations use more. See How credits work for the full breakdown.

When to use it

Hero AI shines after you have a couple of weeks of campaign data. Before that, there's not enough signal for it to be useful. A first campaign in its first week will get a "not enough data yet" response on most questions.
