Cancel your subscription

Cancellation stops the next renewal charge. You keep access through the end of the current billing period.

How to cancel

  1. Open Account → Plan in the sidebar.
  2. Click Manage billing. The Paddle billing portal opens.
  3. Click Cancel subscription.
  4. Confirm.

The cancellation is scheduled immediately. You keep paid access until the end of the current billing period.

What happens after you cancel

Through the end of the current billing period:

  • Your subscription remains active.
  • You keep all features.
  • Your remaining credits stay in your balance.

After the billing period ends:

  • The subscription expires.
  • You lose access to Hero Marketer until you reactivate.
  • Your existing campaigns in Google Ads continue running. Cancellation doesn't pause or delete them.
  • When you sign in, Hero Marketer sends you to the renewal page instead of the dashboard, settings, campaign wizard, Hero AI, accounts, or products.

Your campaigns keep running

Important: Cancelling Hero Marketer doesn't pause your Google Ads spend. Campaigns built through Hero Marketer live in your Google Ads account and continue running until you pause them in Google Ads directly.

If you want to stop ad spend along with cancelling, pause your campaigns in Google Ads before or after cancelling. Hero Marketer cancellation alone won't do this for you.

Your data after cancellation

When your subscription expires:

  • Account, product, and campaign records are retained for at least 90 days. If you reactivate within that window, everything comes back as it was.
  • Hero AI conversation history is retained for the same window.
  • Historical app data is retained but not visible in the app until you reactivate.

After 90 days of inactivity, accounts may be archived. Reactivation after that requires contacting support.

For full deletion of your data (not just cancellation), contact support with a deletion request. We process within 30 days.

Refunds

If you cancel close to the start of a billing period, you may be eligible for a refund. See Refund policy.

Pausing instead of cancelling

There's no formal pause option. The closest equivalent is downgrading to Pro for periods when you don't need the higher tier, then upgrading back when you do. See Change your plan.

Re activating after cancellation

To come back:

  1. Sign in with the same Google identity you used originally.
  2. Pick a plan on the renewal page.
  3. Confirm payment.

Within the 90 day retention window, your existing accounts, products, and campaign history are restored automatically. After 90 days, contact support to retrieve archived data.

Why are you leaving?

If something specific isn't working, contact support before cancelling. We'd rather fix the issue than lose you.
