Refund policy
Hero Marketer offers a 14 day money back guarantee on subscriptions, with one constraint based on credit usage.
The guarantee
If you're not satisfied within 14 days of your subscription starting (or renewing), you can request a full refund subject to the credit usage rule below. No questions, no hassle.
The credit usage rule
The refund is full only if you've used less than 10 percent of your monthly credit allocation:
- Pro. Refundable if fewer than 5 credits used.
- Growth. Refundable if fewer than 10 credits used.
- Agency. Refundable if fewer than 25 credits used.
If you've used more, the credits already consumed represent real AI work the underlying providers charged us for. We can't refund those, but we'll refund the unused portion if requested.
The rule applies fresh on each renewal. If you renew and within 14 days haven't used much, you're still eligible.
What's refunded
When eligible:
- The full subscription charge for the current period (or partial, prorated against unused credit, if you've used some).
What isn't refunded:
- Top up credit purchases. Top ups are non refundable as a standard rule. See Buy more credits for the exception process.
- Google Ads spend. Hero Marketer doesn't bill for ad spend. Refunds for ad spend are a Google Ads matter, handled directly with Google.
- Charges older than 14 days. Past renewals beyond the 14 day window aren't covered by the guarantee.
How to request a refund
Contact support with:
- The email on your Hero Marketer account.
- Which charge you want refunded (date and amount).
- A short note on what isn't working for you. We use this to improve, not to argue you out of the refund.
We process refunds within 5 business days. They land back on your original payment method within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.
After a refund
When a refund is processed:
- Your subscription is cancelled (refunds and active subscriptions don't coexist).
- Access continues through the end of the period that's being refunded, then ends.
- Your data is retained per the standard policy. See Cancel your subscription.
Exceptions
A few cases we handle outside the standard rule:
- Billing errors. If you were charged incorrectly, fully refunded regardless of usage or time.
- Outage or sustained performance issues on our side that prevented usage. Case by case, but we lean toward refunding.
- Beyond 14 days. Not covered by the guarantee, but if you have a specific reason (extended outage, service degradation), reach out and we'll review.
Disputes
If you don't agree with how a refund request was handled, escalate by replying to the support thread or starting a new one. We'll have someone senior take a fresh look.
We don't want a refund to be a fight. The guarantee exists to give you confidence to try Hero Marketer.
