I hit my account or product limit

When you try to add a Google Ads account or a product and Hero Marketer shows the limit reached screen, you've hit the cap on your current plan.

Account limit

You hit this when adding a Google Ads account beyond your plan's allowance.

Three options:

Upgrade your plan

To go from 1 account to 10 accounts, upgrade to Agency. Growth doesn't change the account limit (still 1 account). See Change your plan.

Disconnect an existing account

If you no longer need an account that's connected, disconnect it to free a slot. See Disconnect Google Ads.

Stay on the current plan

If you only need to manage one account, stay on Pro or Growth. The account you've already connected continues to work normally.

Product limit

You hit this when adding a product to an account that already has the maximum number for your plan.

Three options:

Upgrade your plan

Pro to Growth: from 1 product to 10 products. See Change your plan.

Use a different account

If you have multiple Google Ads accounts (Agency plan), products are scoped per account. The first account's product limit doesn't affect the second account's limit. Add the new product on a different account if that fits your structure.

Consolidate products

If your products are similar enough that they could share keywords and copy, consider treating them as one product instead of two. The campaign wizard lets you customize copy per campaign without adding a separate product.

Stay where you are if it makes sense

Don't upgrade just to clear the limit. If you don't actually need the extra capacity, the cheaper plan is fine.

A common pattern: someone hits the limit while exploring, upgrades immediately, then realizes they only needed one of the extra slots. They could have just deleted the unused experiment and stayed on the lower plan.

Hidden gotchas

A few non obvious cases:

You disconnected an account but the slot isn't freed

When you disconnect, the slot frees immediately. If the limit reached screen is still showing after a disconnect, refresh the page. If it persists, contact support.

You can't delete a product you don't need

Products can't be deleted directly in the app. To free a product slot, contact support and ask for the product to be removed.

Shared accounts on Agency

If your Agency plan has 10 accounts, that's 10 slots total across all team members. Sharing an Agency plan with a partner means you're sharing the 10 slot limit.

Need more than Agency offers?

If your usage exceeds 10 accounts or 10 products per account on a sustained basis, custom plans are available. Contact support with your usage profile.
